SMALL DOWNTOWN APARTMENT

The project is a complete refurbishment, interior design and furnishing of a small apartment, located in the very center of Sofia, nearby the „Military Academy“ park. The apartment is designed in bright colors and pure lines. Special attention is given to the functionality and comfort of living. White is the most luminous choice as a background color. This cozy one bedroom 50.0m2 flat embodies most of the challenges commonly encountered in the old buildings in the center of the city. The floor plan consists of living room, kitchen and small dining area, one bedroom with a bathroom, small toilet and two balconies. The greater part of the walls are covered in MDF wainscoting, white mat and flush doors with concealed frames. The living area as well as the bedroom is covered in technical parquet – natural oak, while the entrance corridor and bathroom are covered in big size granite tiles. Two of the four sliding wardrobe doors in the master bedroom are designed with mirror finish in order to create visual illusion of a bigger space. Every piece of furniture is custom designed, according to the requirements of its owners.
